Die cracks at date digit bottoms with slight displaced field breaks on later die states. Later clashed die state shows two diagonal clash lines at neck with weakened same clashed n. ''Revision:'' via LVA, "Band of several parallel polishing lines from top right of D over to rim above N in UNITED on some specimens". ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # Unfortunately, early die states of the break are not as bold and can be confused with the 1900-O VAM-29A. Complicating this issue is the fact that the 1900-O VAM-29A brings a significant premium when sold where the 1900-O VAM-35A usually does not. 1900-O VAM-29A is seldom, if ever, found in mint state and the 1900-O VAM-35A can be found in high grades. The 1900-O VAM-35A is not actually a die break but rather a die crack. No metal was significantly displaced as happened in the late stages of the 1900-O VAM-29A. This page should help attribute the differences in the early stages of the VAM-29A from the 1900-O VAM-14A. This VAM has a light die crack running through the denticles almost horizontally across the bottom of the date. # This variety come with a single or a double clash. # 1900-O VAM-14A same as 1900-O VAM-35A, 1900-O VAM-35A was eliminated. 1900-O VAM-14A appears to be a duplication or repeated mis-attribution of 1900-O VAM-41A. The mint-mark is set high with a tilt to the right on this marriage unlike the reverse pictured in the VAM book. # 1900-O VAM-35A same as 1900-O VAM-14A and 1900-O VAM-41A, 1900-O VAM-14A and 1900-O VAM-41A were eliminated. # 1900-O VAM-35A was reinstated December 2013.
