For this reason, strike doubling can show only on the mint mark and not on other nearby details. # The 1900-O VAM-34B is the EDS of the 1900-O VAM-34A (without the fully formed die break above the 'U' in UNITED). # The 1900-O VAM-34A & 1900-O VAM-34B are NOT the same die pair as the 1900-O VAM-34.
