Revised January 2024. 31A III2 19 · C3l (Slanted Date, High O, Die Gouge O, Gouges in Wing) (181) Reverse C3l – Diagonal die gouge thru bottom of O in DOLLAR. Heavy diagonal polishing lines in middle of eagle's left wing and near eagle's body. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # VAM 31A is a different die pair from 1900-O VAM-31, 1900-O VAM-31B and 1900-O VAM-31C # Same as former VAM 2B1. # Not all examples have the gouged O.
