Discovery August 2023, Evan Crook 47 III2 31 • C3q (Slanted Date, O Slightly High, Mark on Eye) (?) Obverse III2 31 - Date set at left side of normal lateral position, slanted upward. Short, curved thread impression on Liberty's eye. ''Die markers'' - Heavy polishing lines in LIBERTY and around cotton bolls. Distinct line down from right side of lower cotton leaf. Reverse C3q - O mint mark centered, upright, and slightly high. ''Die markers'' - Lines in wing-neck gap, die cracks across both wingtips in later die stages. DPIS - LE3/RH4 Comments:
