=1890-S VAM-25 S/S High= Discovered by Leroy Van Allen, September 1983. Eliminated 2018 as machine doubled VAM 1 25 III2 1 - C3n (S/S High) (190) Reverse C3n - Mint mark doubled as a shadow outline at very top outside, doubled top serif at top left, and as a diagonal line in middle of lower loop. Comments: # Examined a piece that was a good match for the LVA plate, but it appears to be deceptive strike doubling. Question listing.
