Date at middle of normal lateral position. Repunched date fades in late die state. Die fatigue doubling develops on ear in later die states. Reverse C3a - Long vertical thin thread-like impression on inner feathers of eagle's right wing, five feathers from bottom. DPIS - LH3/B45 ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # Double threadlike impressions when it comes out on the inside of 7th outside wing feather then gets wavy on the 10th feather before disappearing. The thread-like impression begins on the fifth feather in the row starting at the eagle's right leg and curves diagonally upwards. # Formerly 1886-P VAM-1J. # Note; on LDS examples the doubling on top of 6 is realy hard to see, & the threadlike impression on the reverse is completely lost.
