=1886-P VAM-19 Doubled 86 and Stars= Discovered by Pete Anderson, February 1998. Revised November 2024 19 III2 18 · C3a (Doubled 86 and Stars) (189) Obverse III2 18 - Later die stages develop die fatigue doubling with the 86 in date slightly doubled at top inside of lower loops, all left and right stars slightly doubled towards rim, and the ear doubled on the right inside. ''Die Markers'' - Diagonal polishing lines in LIBERTY, dot in circular void in rear of hair. Line at top of I and dot are faintly visible in late die state. Reverse C3a - ''Die Markers'' - Polishing in wing-neck gap and wreath bow in early die state, cracks through ST in STATES and AME in AMERICA in later die state.
