Discovery March 2023, Andy Wojtowich III2 29 • C3a (Dash Under 8, Lump at Wing) (?) Obverse III2 29 - Date at right edge of normal position. Low dash under the second 8. ''Die Markers'' - Long, curved die scratch across Liberty's lower neck. Light pitting on Liberty's eye. Diagonal line through middle of Y in LIBERTY. Reverse C3a - Rounded lump protruding from the upper edge of the eagle's left wing opposite the back of the head. ''Die Markers'' - Lines in wing-neck gap, lines in wreath bow. DPIS - RE3/LH5 Comments: # Similar to VAM 6, but the date is not quite in the far position. # At least in some cases this VAM has a doubled ear.
