Discovery June 2023, James Hepler 92 III2 84 • C3a (Doubled Date) (179) Obverse III2 84 - 1 doubled on surface at curve of upper crossbar, 1st 8 doubled on bottom and right outside and right inside of lower loop. 2nd 8 doubled at bottom left outside of upper loop. 0 doubled slightly at lower left inside. ''Die Markers'' - Long die scratch at junction of jaw and neck. Stray die scratches in upper part of cap around cotton leaves, through wheat leaf, in cap fold. Reverse C3a - Same reverse as VAM 64. ''Die Marker'' - Die gouge through leaf right of ribbon bow. Comments:
