Description

Discovery June 2023, James Hepler 91 III2 34 • C3a (Doubled Date, Crack to 8) (179) Obverse III2 34 - Same obverse as 1880-P VAM-34 in later die stage with radial crack from denticle below right side of first 8 and large chip between loops of first 8 on right side. Reverse C3a - Same reverse as 1880-P VAM-64 in earlier die stage with no gouges through the leaf right of the ribbon bow. (Please Note; There is an EDS of the 1880-P VAM-64 that has no gouges through the leaf. It has a different obverse than this.) Comments:
