=1879-S VAM-76 Doubled/Quadrupled 187 & Stars= Discovery "Coinsupclose", Oct, 2023 76 III2 40 • C3ag (Doubled/Quadrupled 187 & Stars) Obverse III2 40 - Slightly doubled bottom of 187 and slightly quadrupled lower edge of 1 upper crossbar and all left and right stars towards rim. Slightly doubled top of phrygian cap. ''Die Marker''-Horizontal die polishing lines in hair below cap. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The 1879-S VAM-76A was discovered by B.R. in 2010 and that is when this coin was originally listed (a two for one) but the existence (actual discovery) of the 1879-S VAM-76 was not until 2023 (Thanks Coinsupclose!).
