=1879-P VAM-55 Doubled 1-9 & Motto= Discovered by Michael Ash, February 2007. 55 III2 45 ∙ C3a (Doubled 1-9 & Motto) (194) Obverse II2 45 – Slightly doubled 1 at lower edge of top and bottom crossbar and 9 at left outside of upper loop. E PLU-BUS UNUM doubled at bottom inside of letters towards rim. Slightly doubled top of Phrygian cap and bottom outside of ear. Left stars slightly tripled. Reverse C3a – Normal die ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The 1879-P VAM-55 is known with 1 or 2 clashes. The third clash transferred a trace of the n thereby producing the 1879-P VAM-55A.
