Description
Discovery October 2022, Lewis Rosenbaum II 48 • B2bk (Doubled 7, Chip on R) (?) Obverse II 48 - 7 doubled slightly on top and on right side of shaft. Top of Phrygian cap and bent wheat leaf. LIBERTY doubled slightly to left. Repunching on L, R, and B of PLURIBUS. Some pitting in field left of Liberty's neck. ''Die Markers'' - Many rough, thick polishing lines throughout Liberty's hair and portrait. Possible re-engraving below nose and on lower lip. Reverse B2bk - Lightly engraved shallow feathers between eagle's right wing and leg. Slightly doubled D in Dollar at bottom. Die chip on upper right of loop of R in AMERICA. R in trust not broken.
